Fake Gimmicks over Israeli attack on Iran

As the only super power relying entirely on its military terror prowess and the CIA networks globally, USA, upon its achievement of unipolar world under its lead, has taken it for granted that it alone has the right to impose regime-changes abraod through destabilization operations by employing the oppositions there, pariticularly in nations that do not subscribe to US imperialist policies.

That is perhaps the essence US democracy. “Either you are with us or against us?” – Bush Jr screamed.

Even as deadly harping on terror attack on Iran, the USA says it has no plans to attack Iran but Washington also talks about planned Iranian attacks on US soil matches the WMD fantasies used to justify 2003 events; both relied on dubious information from dodgy informants.

US antagonism to Tehran began in 1979 when some revolution-minded Iranian students stormed the US Embassy there and held 55 staff members as hostages for 444 days. Washington said the raid broke diplomatic protocol. Embassy-based operatives, with advanced eavesdropping techniques, had for years been able to provide the Shah's much-hated security service, Savak, with the names of regime opponents to be rounded up, tortured and even killed. Diplomatic immunity should not mean embassy impunity.

In escalating terror wars in Islamic world, the Obama regime has shown the new peace theme in practical terms, but the opposite. In June 2009, US President B. Obama traveled all the way to Egypt with its blatantly rigged elections to call for democracy and denounce as nondemocratic the one country, Iran, which did at least have the semblance of fair and open elections. Postelection violence in Tehran was said to prove a lack of democracy.

In 1980, an ally of USSR in buying arms, Iraq took advantage of the 1979 unrest to attack Iran and Tehran purchased more US arms. The resulting eight-year war caused close to 1 million Iranian casualties. America also was providing Baghdad with the weapons systems and aerial intelligence that may well have helped those gas attacks on Kurdish villages as well as Iranians.

Iran considers nukes as the deterrent form enemies like Israel. Russia developed nukes manly to counter the US nuclear onward march, terrorizing and destroying humanity. USA is now harping on Iran's nuclear drive. Washington condemns Iran's nuclear development program, saying Tehran secretly plans to develop a nuclear weapon. But a desire for nuclear defense may not be surprising in a nation that has suffered such a cruelly aggressive war with Iraq fueled by USA and Russia, Israel and Europe.

With a history of using assassinations for Zionist policy purposes, Israel went ahead with implementing its ulterior motives. Israel continues with its illegal nuclear drives and denies that its Mossad agents, allegedly in cooperation with the CIA, have been responsible for the recent assassinations of Iranian nuclear scientists.

In 1963 months before his assassination, then US President John Kennedy is on record as saying the Israeli developments had to be stopped. With illegally obtained nukes, Israel had decided that nuclear weapons were the only guarantee for "never again."

CIA, Mossad and their media did much to spread the myth of Iraqi WMD and possible nuclear development. But many who very well know Iran today readily agree that it is the one Middle East nation with a vibrant society and a reasonably free, educated middle class. Does it then really deserve this US-UNSC-IAEA campaign of demonization and disinformation?

Iran has also had to suffer a massive US demonization and disinformation campaign. Iran's leaders are criticized because they adhere to a doctrinaire religion. But one of leading contenders for presidency and future US leadership also belongs to a rather unusual and doctrinaire religion. Iran's religion is fundamentalist where as US religion is democratic or rather terrocratic?
