Why UN does not Investigate Indian terror in Kashmir?

The Indian Hindu terrorist troops, possibly to make the UN bosses in good humors, continue ransacking the Jammu Kashmir nation, killing as many Muslims as possible as “terrorists”. The big capitalist and neo-imperialist powers plus colonialists like India and Israel literally control the UN and UNSC and have made them irrelevant to the resolution of any regional dispute. After US’s nominated envoy to Kashmir Susan Rice termed Kashmir as "hotspot", the United Nations Secretary General, Ban Ki Moon has named Kashmir as an important issue and urged India and Pakistan to resume the dialogue process to resolve all outstanding issues including Kashmir.

UN and UNSC have been watching al Zionist genocides in Palestine, Kashmir and else where and never really cared for the Muslims there Recently, UN secretary-general Ban ki Moon is one of victims to Indian strategy of awarding and bribing the ‘concerned people” to help Indian brute occupation of JK. Moon termed Kashmir as an important issue between Islamabad and New Delhi. Like Obama, Ban also said India and Pakistan should resume peace process to resolve all outstanding issues. The UN Chief said cordial relationship between India and Pakistan would not only benefit the two countries but is also desirable for peace and security in the region leading to existence of Jammu Kashmir as an independent nation.

In spite of Indian opposition, USA is going ahead with mediation in Kashmir . Recently, UN secretary-general Ban ki-Moon said India and Pakistan should resume peace process to resolve all outstanding issues. An EU delegation led by its head and Ambassador of Czech Republic Hynek Kmonicek visited Jammu Kashmir on a 4-day visit commencing February 28. This is the first visit of EU delegation to Kashmir after the recently concluded Assembly elections. The delegation is expected to interact with different shades of opinion in the state during their visit. Freedom leaders should make maximum use of the visit by UN delegates and press for sovereignty form arrogant India.

Indian state terrorists are not afraid of killing any Muslim, male, female, old and child in Jammu Kashmir because that is exactly what the Hindu leaders in New Delhi and Sri Nagar want. The JK regime headed by a Muslim does exactly what the bosses in New Delhi ask them to perform with regard to Kashmiris who seek sovereignty back. The twin murders in Sopian were not the first case in Jammu Kashmir. So much so, murders of Muslims are a common, routine matter in the former valley- now Indian cantonment. Not only ordinary people, but even select Muslim leaders have been killed by the Hindu terrorists in uniform. Sopian murder experiment is being duplicated in other parts of JK. A governor is there only to promote state murders in Jammu Kashmir. UN is least bothered about genocides in JK, because it wants India to do “enough” there. Pertinent to mention, following the February 21 killing of two civilians - Muhammed Amin Tantray and Javid Ahmed Dar - at Bomai of JK, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah had ordered an inquiry into the matter headed by the then district magistrate Baramulla, Baseer Ahmad Khan. The report, which pointed finger at the Army, was then submitted to the central government to hand down “exemplary punishment” to the accused. Worth mentioning in view of the Armed Forces Special Powers Act vested with the security forces, the state government needs clearance from the central government to initiate action against the guilty soldiers.

Reiterating their decision of mass migration from the village in case the Army post is not removed the residents of Bomai village in north Kashmir’s Sopore district protest and said they would not raise slogans or resort to any form of violence, butl leave the area in a peaceful manner. Hakeem-ur-Rehman, chairman of the Coordination Committee spearheading the campaign for the removal of Army camp said the Omar Abdullah led coalition government has failed to ensure the safety of the people. “We will observe a complete strike in the area on March 19 and 20. In case the state government still does not remove the Army camp from here the residents of the Bomai village will migrate from the area on March 21”. The residents of Goripora, Darpora, Zanipora, Lakripora and Tujjar Shareef have extended their support to the call given by the Coordination Committee and have decided to observe a two-day shutdown. The residents of Bomai are not alone and the people of adjoining areas stand with them in these testing times. They are united in the campaign to see to it that the troops are driven out from here.

Senior Hurriyat Executive and acting chairman Jammu Kashmir Peoples League Mukhtar Ahmad Waza has strongly condemned the continued human rights violations committed by Indian troops in Jammu Kashmir. He maintained that the people of Kashmir would continue their struggle for an amicable and durable solution of the Kashmir dispute. Spotting of more unmarked graves in Lolab of North Kashmir are the umpteen examples that Indian armed forces have been rendered trigger free and have unleashed terror in every nook and corner of Kashmir. Mukhtar Waza called upon the international community to continue to highlight the human rights violations being perpetrated by Indian military and para-military forces in Kashmir and to impress upon the government of India to allow an independent and impartial investigation of the mass grave sites in the region. He urged the international human rights organizations to send a fact-finding mission to enquire about the human rights violations being committed by Indian troops in the region.

As per sources, the Army refused to participate in the inquiry conducted by the state government saying such a probe is not valid. The irony with Kashmir is that they have a democratically elected government which is governed by the Hindu terror Army. Hurriyat (G) led by Syed Ali Shah Geelani termed the alleged nullifying of the probe report into the Bomai killings by the Army as “worst kind of state terrorism and hooliganism” and asked Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to resign and support the freedom struggle. “It is an eye opener for the entire world community and the state government. He further said the establishment of local government is only a diplomatic need for the government of India to “give an impression to the world that Kashmiris are governed by their own people” and to “shield the war crimes committed by the forces”. Geelani said People like Mufti Sayed and Omar Abdullah are being used as pawns by New Delhi an dcalled upon United Nations War Crime Tribunal to come forward to save “the helpless Kashmir from atrocities”.

The denial has once again elucidated that the Army in Jammu and Kashmir is not only occupational but they are the actual rulers. The civil administration here is just for name. Removal of Indian terror forces form JK has been one of the minor demands of both freedom and pro-Indian outfits, but India decides what is good got Hindus and India. It appears the Chief Minister of the state is so helpless that he can’t get an Army post removed from the area. If Omar Abdullah isn’t able to remove an Army post, how can he ensure the safety of millions of Kashmiris? The promises made by the government have turned to be a mere hoax.

It is fact, some nations have exploited the so-called, mischievous “war on global terrorism” to deny human rights and self-determination to its people. Russia is doing that in Chechnya, China in Tibet and India in Kashmir. Massive and systematic human rights violations are being carried out in Kashmir which is United Nations recognized disputed territory. In order to suppress the demand of people, the Indian Government attempts to label the popular demand as terrorist movement and by bogus polls using cash, military and threat perceptions and false promises. Under the garb of terrorism, the human rights evasions and fundamental right violations had drastically increased and the forces are freed from prosecution.

Some pro-India Kashmiris, like many Hindus now enjoying the Indian privileges, disdain the sacrifices of Kashmiri Muslims for a sovereign nation. When someone gives his blood, or life itself, for a cause, the Pro-India a Indians consider him irresponsible. They qualify those sacrifices as hateful terrorism. Accordingly, those who fought for India freedom are also terrorists, Gandhi, Nehru and the rest. Those fanatic people cannot act as mediators for the solution of the problem of Kashmir or any other problem for that matter. People, Muslims or Hindus, Buddhists or Sikhs, may sacrifice their lives for what they consider a worthy cause. To look down on them with disdain will not contribute to the solution of the problem of Kashmir or any other world problem. Pro-India elements cannot be truthful mediators (or negotiators for any cause) for Jammu Kashmir freedom. World must show respect for those sacrifices.
