Why India crawls for UNSC seat?

[India offers an almost blank sheet to every foreign dignitary visiting New Delhi officially, or otherwise, to be signed by them to support Indian claim for a seat in the much discredited and the most abused international body called UNSC. Once signed on duress or coercion or persuasion, Indian media trumpet around saying that so and so has endorsed Indian ambitions for UNSC seat. Russia is too embarrassed now that its leaders avoid discussing that issue all together with greedy Indian leaders. India is still keen to use terrorism plank for advancing global interests. Terror India bluffs on Mumbai terrorism and also does not take responsibility for terrors in Pakistan. Strongly condemning the multiple bombings in Lahore, India refuses to dismantling the infrastructure of terrorism directed against Muslims and Islam, has also coolly rejected Pakistani allegations of an Indian hand in the attack and stressed that such loose statements were putting a strain on bilateral ties. India is fond of offering dossiers to those whom it allegedly fears for no reason.}

Under guidance of the former India ruler UK, India hurriedly occupied Jammu Kashmir immediately after its independence in 1947 and began killing Muslims and converting the Kashmir into a military cantonment to be controlled by the governor and military establishment. India occupies Kashmir not only because it is a very important source of water flowing into Pakistan which India wants to obstruct by building illegal dams across the rivers passing through India. India sees as a buffer zone to wage wars with China and Pakistan. There are four countries that have borders with Kashmir. They have strategic security interests too in Kashmir. It is unfair to portray religious belief, or exploit it, as the sole cause of the problem without giving due regard to the other causes. Kashmir must belong to all Kashmiris. It will be a new sisterly neighbor of both India and Pakistan. Just like Nepal and Bhutan, it will serve as a buffer zone between the four states bordering it.

India wants to control not just Jammu Kashmir, but the entire region. The root cause of the Indo-Pak dispute is Kashmir, so if India is not ready to solve the basic issue and not serious to discuss with people of Kashmir then dialogue will be just a joke. India must respect the human rights & aspiration of people of Kashmir must be respected. Troops can’t break the courage and determination of pro-freedom people by using tyrannical methods. Senior Hurriyat Leader and Acting Chairman Jammu Kashmir Peoples League Mukhtar Ahmad Waza while addressing delegates of district Kupwara, Baramulla, Budgam and Srinagar said that the Kashmir issue could be settled through comprehensive dialogue and Kashmiri leadership’s involvement in it was indispensable. Waza reiterated that dialogue between India & Pakistan will not bring any results until the full participation of true representative of people of Kashmir are not allowed to sit in three party dialogue. Waza maintained that people of Kashmir are the cardinal party to the K-issue and their viewpoint is of paramount importance. Mukhtar Waza strongly condemns the malevolent action against the innocent people by Indian troops at Chinkipora in Sopore. “Indian troops have beaten up the children, women and the old aged people while set many houses on fire,” Waza emphatically urge upon the rulers of Pakistan and India to say goodbye to the anachronistic mindset of belligerency and polarization and act as responsible democracies of South Asia to concede to Kashmiris “right to self determination”.

A state killing people through proxy terror wars and employing all illegal methods and immoral tactics including bribery to influence foreign governments cannot be a genuine nation, let alone a democracy. Worse than banana states, New Delhi strategists advise the “innocent” regime to adopt corrupt means to influence other nations against Kashmir. Indian strength lies in lobbying directly and through paid agents around the world commissioned by the country’s embassies. One of leading Indian lobbyists, BGR has been a registered lobbyist for the Indian government since 2005. Sources said India’s hired lobbyists were deployed to shape the contours of the U.S. diplomatic mission. According to lobbying records filed with the Department of Justice, since 2005, the government of India has paid BGR about $2.5 million. Former U.S. ambassador to India Robert Blackwill, who previously served as a lobbyist -agent for India to support its terror genocides in Jammu Kashmir, left BGR in 2008 for the Rand Corporation. In addition, the Indian embassy in Washington has paid lobbying firm Patton Boggs $291,665 under a six-month contract that took effect Aug. 18, according to lobbying records. BGR continues to actively lobby on behalf of the Indian government - their lobbyists sought to influence a recent Senate resolution on the Mumbai attacks.

On the strength of its financial muscle and illegal links with anti-Islamic nations, India vehemently opposes any foreign intervention in holocaust in Kashmir unleashed by Indian state terrorists as part of IST. The evidence that India was able to successfully lobby the Obama transition in the weeks before it took office to ensure Holbrooke's mission left them and Kashmir out is testament to both the sensitivity of the issue to India as well as the prowess and sophistication of its political and lobbying operation on the streets of Washington. The Indians freaked out at talk of Bill Clinton being an envoy to Kashmir as "Innocent" India rose up, shamelessly, to defend the property stolen tactfully from Kashmiris in 1947 and now under heavy militarization.

After enjoying the genocides and destruction in Kashmir, India now feels not strong enough and is handicapped without being inside the notorious UNSC to control South Asia at least. When the Indian government learned Holbrooke was going to visit both Pakistan and India, they swung into action and lobbied to have India excluded from his purview and approached Mrs. Clinton. When Secretary of State Hillary Clinton -- flanked by President Obama -- introduced Richard Holbrooke as the formidable new U.S. envoy to South Asia at a State Department ceremony, India was noticeably absent from his title. But the omission of India from his title and from Clinton’s official remarks introducing the new diplomatic push in the region was no accident -- not to mention a sharp departure from Obama's own previously stated approach of engaging India, as well as Pakistan and Afghanistan, in a regional dialogue.

India cares a damn for UN resolutions, but is keen to enter the notorious UNSC to advance its terror interests. Although the 1949 U.N. cease-fire agreement declared that the state’s future would be determined by its citizens through a free and impartial plebiscite, no plebiscite has ever been held.” Congressman urged the U.S. Administration to become involved in the Kashmir dispute so as the resolve the issue to the satisfaction of the people of the state. US Congressman Burton said that 700,000 Indian military and paramilitary forces are still up there and keeping everything under wraps. They are patrolling the streets and there are still some horrible tragedies that are taking place -- I heard of the discovery of more than 4,000 mass graves in Kashmir, and until just the last few months, we haven't heard of these new things that have been going on. He pledged that he would once again go to the floor of the Congress and makes sure the entire world and the Congressional Record has all these tragedies accounted for, so that the American people and the people across the world will have more information about the horrible things that the people of Kashmir have to go through in a sustained manner.

India directs Washington bosses not to talk about Kashmir issue which is extremely sentimental to New Delhi. In what could be seen as an embarrassment for the Indian government, Kashmir was to top the agenda of Obama's special envoy to Pakistan and Afghanistan, Richard Holbrooke during his visit to the sub-continent. Indian leaders are worried about US envoy Holbrooke’s tough-as-nails reputation and want to keep him off from ‘meddling;’ in Kashmir issue. His discussion on Kashmir can prove embarrassment for the Indian leaders, who had been ‘claiming victory’ after recent statement from Washington that Kashmir does not figure in Holbrooke’s agenda. Indian strategists cried Russian foul so loudly that they could be heard even in Moscow as Holbrooke undertook a visit to India to initiate peace steps and also discuss Kashmir issue with the Indian leaders. India still plays its “innocent democracy” card.

As for the terror state, the whole world knows the reality about Pakistan. My kind suggestion to you, please go back to your beloved Pakistan and get your facts right about Kashmir.
